Coaches Time Out was exactly what Micah and I needed. It was a chance to get away and remember each other and to be reminded of why coaching is important to our family. Coaching is truly a ministry and while it requires us to make sacrifices as a family, we see it as an opportunity to build up our players and show them the love of Jesus.
It was good to worship our Savior that weekend with fellow coaches and their spouses who share common experiences. It renewed our passion for God, our marriage, and the ministry of coaching. We are looking forward to attending CTO next summer!
