Lakeland Leadership Camp

Leadership Camps are for student-athletes, Huddle Coaches and volunteers who serve as leaders on their local campuses. The camp focuses on teaching practical skills for Christian growth, the development as an effective campus leader and the training for spiritual, organizational and motivational tools for use in the FCA Campus Ministry.

Camp Info

Camp Registration Opens March 1st

WHO: Students going into 7th- 12th grades and incoming college freshmen Fall 2017

DATES: July 10-14, 2017

WHERE: Southeastern University (1000 Longfellow Blvd. Lakeland, FL 33801)

COST: $335 Student Camper (Grades 7-12 and incoming college freshmen), Boys and Girls (This includes lodging, meals, camp t-shirt and Bible)

             $335 per Adult Camper (this includes lodging, meals, camp t-shirt and Bible)

              $250  for Adult Camper Spouse

             $250 per non Camper Child (child 4-11 years old)

              Non Camper Child under 3 years old FREE

           FCA (non-camp) staff $250 (Spouse and children $250 each)

           FCA staff children 0-3yrs FREE

DEPOSITS/FEES: There is a required $100 deposit to register. All monies are refundable if you cancel before June 1. If you fail to cancel and do not show up for camp your deposit will not be refunded.

*** If you do not receive a registration confirmation email, you are more than likely NOT registered for camp.***

What to Bring:

  • Modest Athletic Attire
  • Athletic shoes & running shoes
  • Sleeping bag or twin sheets (you may want to bring a single bed mattress cover)
  • Blanket
  • Pillow
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Alarm Clock
  • Water Bottle
  • Small Backpack
  • Notebook
  • Pen/Pencil
  • Extra spending money for the Camp Store (optional)
  • Swimsuit- Modest swim attire is required- ladies must wear a modest one-piece swimsuit or a dark colored t-shirt over swimsuit. Bring a cover-up for walking to and from the pool.

Ladies: Please be sure to wear shorts that are an appropriate length. Shorts and shirts that are too short and/or revealing will not be allowed. Athletic tank tops are allowed as long as there are no undergarments showing.

Gentlemen: Please be sure to wear shorts and shirts that are appropriate. Tank tops are allowed if they are not cut offs or have been altered in any way. Shorts that show undergarments will not be allowed

10:15 am Camps Ends


Driving directions from Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4

  • Take I-4 to exit 33 and travel south on Route 33 (Lakeland Hills Blvd.).
  • Lakeland Hills Blvd. becomes Massachusetts Ave. as you cross Memorial Blvd.
  • Continue to Bartow Road and turn left.
  • Follow Bartow Road and turn left onto Crystal Lake Drive.
  • turn left onto Longfellow Blvd.

*If flying, please fly into Tampa International Airport (TPA). Contact the camp registrar to arrange for pick up and transportation from airport to camp.

*Greyhound Bus Lines serves Lakeland. If you are arriving by bus, contact the camp registrar to arrange for pick up and transportation from bus station to camp.
