West Polk
West Polk FCA reaches the fast-growing, sports-rich corner of Polk County—includes Lakeland, Mulberry, Kathleen, Bradley Junction, and Bartow. With over ~31 public elementary schools, approximately ~10+ middle schools, and around ~11+ high schools. Higher education includes strong partners like Polk State College, Florida Southern College (NCAA DII), Warner University, and Webber International University.
North Ridge
North Ridge FCA serves the north-east corridor of Polk County—stretching from Davenport’s fast‑growing suburbs to the heart of rural towns like Polk City. With roughly 10 elementary, 6 middle, and 5–6 high schools right within city limits—and colleges such as Polk State College (Winter Haven), Southeastern, Warner, and Florida Poly just minutes away—the region offers a rich setting for FCA’s Campus, Club, and League ministries.
South Ridge + North Heartland
This FCA region serves a rich blend of city corridors and agricultural communities—spanning Winter Haven, Lake Wales, Frostproof, Fort Meade, Dundee, Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, and Wauchula. Within Polk County alone, FCA connects with approximately 20 public elementary, 9 middle, and 7 high schools, and partners with post‑secondary institutions like Polk State College (Winter Haven and Lake Wales centers), Warner University, and Webber International University.

After cultivating relationships and once coaches and athletes come to faith in Christ, we want to EQUIP them with Christ-centered training, tools, and ongoing support. We desire to Equip them with God’s Word so they can grow in Christ and help others know and grow in Him.
Empower
Once equipped, we EMPOWER coaches and athletes to help others experience salvation in Jesus, grow in their faith, and share Him with others. We desire to Engage, Equip, and Empower coaches and athletes to make disciples who do the same to others.

by stepping into the pressures, expectations, and busy lives of coaches and athletes—just as Jesus did - bringing the hope and truth of the Gospel right where they are.

FCA Campus Huddles are back and rolling! 🎉
We kicked off our first All-Athlete Huddle at MAT with an awesome turnout! 🙌
➡️ Student-led by McKeel’s own Logan, who opened strong with a devo from Matthew 7—reminding us to build our lives on a firm foundation in Christ. Like the wise man, we’re called to not only hear God’s Word, but act on it. 💪
In breakout huddles, we dug deeper:
✨ “When was a time you had to stand on your firm foundation?”
✨ “What did you do to stay firm?”
And… by popular request from last year… yes, we finished with a Gatorade chug + bottle flip relay 🤣💦 Because what’s FCA without a little fun at 8AM?!

Coaches and their wives from across South Ridge, North Heartland, and North Ridge took a much-needed “time out” from the busyness of life and the intensity of their seasons—and it was powerful.
Our Coaches Time Out (CTO) was a space to rest, reconnect, and refocus, both as individuals and as couples. Through worship, teaching, fellowship, and laughter, hearts were refreshed and relationships strengthened. ✝️🏀💬
We are so thankful for these coaches who lead with passion and purpose—and for the chance to pour back into them as they pour into others.

As an athlete, your new purpose might be to use your sport as a way to reflect on how Christ has changed your life or to share the gospel with teammates, coaches, and others within your sphere of influence. As you step out into this new purpose and power, you will begin to see your life transformed.
