 Schedule Your Zoom Call

Scheduling a zoom call allows us to get to know you and your parents, explain more about ELE, and let you ask questions! Please note you must have at least one parent or legal guardian on the zoom call. If you are new, please schedule your zoom call with Madeline or Rebekah, depending on whose schedule fits your own!

  • DEPOSIT

Starting in 2023, ELE is requiring that students bring their first deposit for their SLU trip to the first ELE session. For 101 students, this amount is $100 per student. If you have questions or concerns about this, please contact Rebekah at Rebekahfirmin@gmail.com.

  • What should I bring to each session?

    • ELE Booklet - given at the first session
    • Pen
    • Water Bottle
    • Any fundraising monies earned since the last session
    • Per the "Deposit" tab - please bring your SLU deposit to the first session!
  • Breakfast

At each session, ELE provides a light breakfast! Once you have been approved, look out for a survey where you can submit dietary needs!

  • What about personal technology (cell phone, laptop, iPad, headphones...)

Cell phones are not to be used during the session unless prompted. Please leave all other devices at home. ELE is not responsible for damage or loss of any personal items.

  • Interview Best Practices

Whether you are a new student or a returner, everyone can implement best practices for your ELE Zoom interview. Here are our tips for success:

    1. Pick a quiet space with a good internet connection.
    2. Position your camera in a stable position, focused at eye level, if possible.
    3. Wear business casual attire: Men: short-sleeved button-downs or collared shirts. Ladies: casual dress or blouse.
    4. Have at least one parent or guardian present.
    5. Have a notebook or piece of paper ready to take notes or write down questions you have along the way.

  • INVITE A FRIEND!

Now that you have your zoom scheduled, INVITE your friends who you think would be a good fit for ELE. We are looking for students who exhibit a desire for Biblical leadership growth, are committed to the session dates and fundraising goals, and would be an asset to our program.

If you have someone in mind, tell them all about it and send them the link to our website: westcentralfloridafca.org/ele
