Our third session of the year features our annual leadership panel! Thank you so much to Kyle Snook (Computer Analyst), @kiatroutman (Owner of Healing Hands Skin Care & Wellness), @beckyk64 (Polk County Social Worker), and @courtney_taytay (Owner of East of These) for sharing your stories and wisdom with out students!
Today, a few student leaders in ELE took a break from studying, working, and life to enjoy an afternoon at @topgolf! Thankful for good laughs, good swings, and good fellowship between life’s events!
Our first session of the year was so much fun! We kicked off the year with our annual relay race, then settled into our seats as @christinstrawbridge, the CEO at Catapult Lakeland, focused on the topic of INFLUENCE by diving into Daniel 6 with our students, looking at how and who Daniel and King Darius were influenced by. During the table time, the students were encouraged to discuss the following questions with their tables: 🔵 WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 PEOPLE OR THINGS THAT INFLUENCE YOUR LIFE? 🔵 WHO DO YOU INFLUENCE? 🔵 AT THE END OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT DO YOU WANT THE IMPACT OF YOUR LIFE TO BE ON THOSE AROUND YOU?
